Britni has been asking for a tandem bike for the last four years. She says that the reason she wants one is because they are cool, and look fun. The real reason I think is because she wants to ride on the back, so I can't see her relaxing while I do all the work pedaling. Anyways, Brit got this Specialized P3 so she can pull the girls in their new bike trailer, and I can ride it in her off time!!! Its not a tandem, but in my book - its better. Hopefully her track record proves to be better than that of driving her old purple Saturn. Although, I have yet to see anyone run into two parked cars and total two bikes like my brother Adam has. (He won't admit it.) The bike has Hayes hydraulic brakes, triple wall rims, Marzocchi dirt jumper II forks, XT components, Thompson seat post, and is set up for dirt jumping and skate parks. (P.S. - She is making me write this blog because she has no idea what any of that meant). But she loves it, and that is all that matters!!!

Brit's New Bike

Sweet ride! Dude, I totally want to see you rippin' up "Bobsled" with that machine. You could use the excercise;)
Check you out, fancy! When can we see you guys?? I miss your cute face.
oh my gosh. Jer, you always have to have the fanciest outdoorsey stuff. I'm going to take a wild guess and say you did a ton on research on bikes, and after months of looking, decided on this one! Let me know if it lives up to your expectations!
haha.. stacia got it right. We have been talking about getting me a bike for a while, so I one day suggested going to Target to pick one up. I was given the dirtiest look ever - like I had done something to insult him. "babe, we don't buy bikes from there," he states... o.k. sorry. Apparently, that is a big no-no in the "name-brand" world Jeremy lives in. How he came to be like this, I will never know.
Congrats on finally getting your bike. After looking all over SLC for easter dresses I finally went to target and decided on those, I hope you don't mind I totally copied you. Then I found some gorgeous dresses at walmart, and bought those too, so they each got two dresses this year. It was fun though, and they need dresses anyways.
I would have to say "that bike has Jeremy written all over it", I can totally see Britni picking out a bike she likes at Target and Jeremy frowning in disapproval !!! hahahaha. I must admit I had to wipe the drool off my keyboard when I saw that bike !!! Awesome looking bike Jeremy, I mean Britni. Chris
I love your addition of the Chasing Rainbow song by No Use For A Name...Big huge fan of them!!! We are so excited for Jeremy to be graduating! But sad to know this may be the end of your Utah adventure, we miss being in the good old Brookshire ward...
Britni, I found some old pictures of you and Dave and I posted them on my blog:
