Christmas

Christmas Eve... we made Gingerbread houses and of course cookies for Santa...
Then we all opened our new red and white p.j.'s.
Santa pushed the presents out a little in front of the tree so the kids would not have to crawl underneath. Consequently, when I asked the girls to see what Santa left us "under" the tree. They said ."nothing." Here is a look at our fun morning.

So excited!

Can't wait to take a ride!

The girls love now officially love Santa.

Family in town!

At the beginning of the month, my family came to visit us. It was so fun having them. While they were here we celebrated my mom's 50th birthday, and my brother Arran's 10th! We especially love the Dr. Pepper chocolate cake. Here is Jeremy teaching my younger siblings to use the cheese grater to grate chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, it was odd.
We love you guys tons and can't wait for you to come again!!!

Dear Santa

Dear Santa:
This was the first year since the girls were babies that they were not afraid to sit on your lap. Bailey still was not sure what she thought, but at least there were no tears.

They both have been really good this year (on most days). When you come to our house tonight please bring Kennedy and Bailey a bike. Not a REAL girl kitty cat like Bailey told you at the mall.

Hope to hear your bells this evening and reindeer on our roof tonight!
Love, the Nelsons

Tangled, Tumbling, and Taller

The girls have been dying to see the new Disney Princess movie, Tangled. So we took them Thanksgiving weekend. They had to dress up as princess' of course, and were glued to their seat LOVING every minute of this show. Jer and I actually really liked it as well. One of us may or may not have cried.
Bailey is officially a ballet drop out. She has joined her cousin Cece and sister Kennedy in "nastis." The girls love to tumble everywhere and just had a cute holiday show for the families to watch.
And...... Bailey who has always been the munchkin in the family has outgrown Kennedy. She is actually noticeably taller than her sister.

Heartbroken

Everyone has probably already heard, but our last and final in vitro attempt did not work. Now, we are working on healing and saying good-bye to the little boy that we thought would be ours.
