Family Pics

At the beginning of the month, we got some family pics done. We have not had pics with all of us done since the girls were little babes! Anyways, I am more than happy with how they turned out - I love them and I love my little family!!!

All Hallows Eve!!

So this was the first year, my girls refused to let me pick out their Halloween costumes. They were determined to pick out their own! Both were going to be mermaids, until Kennedy was watching Finding Nemo one day and HAD to be Nemo. Bailey wanted to be a PURPLE mermaid so she had to have her costume made for her. Imagine my Halloween happiness when I realized they both sort of went with a theme: An Ocean one! So I made a Jellyfish costume!
Here is Bailey and I before out ward trunk-or-treat.
And here is little Nemo Kennedy and I.
This was the first year the girls "got" the whole "we get candy just by saying 'Trick or Treat' thing." All of us!
Jer wimped out. I totally wanted him to make a octopus or lobster costume, but alas, he was a fisherman. Lame. He says he was boycotting my craziness.

My costume got a lot of attention. Here is why I loved it. I literally looked like a floating jellyfish at nighttime.
Oh yeah, AND I got told that this year - we will NOT be putting these pictures on our Christmas card. So I guess I will just say it now....
"We FISH you a Merry Christmas!"

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Can I just say how much I love fall?? Well, I do. It is the best. The smells, the activities, and the holidays are great. Apple Hill is one of those places we look forward to going to. This year the girls were REALLY excited to ride the "baby horses." Bailey was super brave and did not even need to hold our hand. KK's needed Dad's hand though :)

COUSINS! (Well all except the floppy guy)

Here is our masterpiece. We have a pumpkin carving contest every year with Jeremy's family and our's won this year! Ya-WHOO! Now even though I did not carve anything, I take credit because I came up with the idea. Jer couldn't think of anything to do for his pumpkin, and I couldn't figure out how to pull it off - so WALL-A we combine out forces to create perfection. j/k Pretty much this pumpkin confirms that we were meant for each other.

No fall would be complete without a school field trip to the pumpkin patch.

So I tried to copy my friend's blog where she made all these cute dinners the week of Halloween, I didn't get to them all, but here is what we did:
