Darling, would you "draw" me up a bath?

Need a laugh???
Please read the following true account:
Trish: So, the other day Aaron drew me up a bath.
Jeremy: With a pen and paper?
(Dead silence fills the room)

All Because Two People Fell In Love....

We had our Bailey family reunion last week. This is everyone of Grandma and Grandpa Bailey's posterity with the exception of Aunt Libby and Rachele's husband John. Crazy that two people can turn into this...

I'm WALKING on sunshine!

Finally at 15 months old - we have walkers! Funny thing is the both started walking on the same day (yesterday). Bailey started in the morning and Kennedy last night. Jeremy missed Bailey's first steps as he was at work, so when he got home I was having her show him her moves. We made a big deal out of it and clapped and cheered for her - and out of the corner of my eye, we see Kennedy stand up on her own and start walking around too! Apparently she wanted some of the glory! I guess when your kids walk late they don't fool around. This was no one step or two - they both walked all around the house. I think they have been practicing at night when we are all asleep =)

ENJOY!

Rub a Dub Dub, Three Girls in a Tub

So at the beginning of the month my friend Amy was in town from Utah. It was fun to see her and get together. We took our kids to the zoo. And of course my children thought the rooster was the great act there!

(Jordyn, Bailey, and Kennedy)

All of us on the Choo-Choo train. They loved it!

Afterwards we went to a nearby park and let the kids get their energy out.

Please note the necklace around Kennedy's neck (she is obsessed with jewelry)

Whoa Mullet! And blonde too - who woulda' known

Finally after a long day of swimming at Amy's house the girls all needed to be cleaned. Baby bums are so cute. As you can see everyone involved in this bath party looks a little confused! Hopefully no one went pee pee in the tub =)

The girls had a lot of fun and love playing with friends!

Oh beautiful, for spacious skies...

I love the 4th of July. I always have. In fact, it was once in "the plan" to have a little girl born on the fourth and name her America. Cheesy, I know - but true. Anyways, we began our holiday by going to the ward breakfast. The girls got pulled around in their wagon the whole time so they pretty much loved it. That evening we went to the block party where the twins got to go swimming, then we put the girls down to bed and left to a really fun party at my friend Amy's house. That is the beauty of living with your in-laws..... being able to put your wee ones down and not be house bound. The girls did not get to see any fireworks this year. They are too grumpy to stay up late - plus last year Kennedy screamed and threw her arms up in the air. So, we anxiously await next year as every year the girls are getting more and more fun!

Long Time no Blog....

O.K., O.K. I know that I am a slacker! But moving a whole entire house - having two kids - and then moving in with your in-laws in a matter of 2.5weeks is no easy task. But we are here! We are enjoying the lovely gas prices and smokey weather from all the fires he-he-he (although it has really cleared up the last few days).
Jeremy just started his new job on Monday making our transition finally feel permanent. Before, it just felt like an extended vacation. =) He likes his new company although he feels a bit overwhelmed trying to learn everything. He has to dress business casual and looks H-O-T when he comes home. (Hence, I am not a morning person and do not see what he looks like in the morning before he leaves for work.) I am used to a dirty, smelly, construction man walking through the door - so this is a nice change.
We also celebrated our four year anniversary on June 26th. That made me feel old. Jer's parents were nice enough to watch the girls and we headed down to Napa Valley for the evening. Our hotel room was awesome as it looked over the river. I have been waiting to post this so that I could show pictures - but let's be honest - who knows where my camera cord is!?! Then the next day, we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It was pretty much like Sea World, but with lots of roller coater rides. I am obsessed with Theme Parks so I had a great time dragging Jer on ride after ride that he tried to get out of with every excuse in the book.
Other than that we are still unpacking, taking trips to the storage unit, and trying to resume normal life. We already miss Utah and our friends there - so this is a shout out to all of you to COME AND VISIT US!
