Cake and Presents

Have you ever wondered what little children think, when their whole lives you have never let them taste anything sweet, and then one day you throw a cake in front of their face and let them eat it? Well, I should have guessed it... that my "twins" who do nothing twin-like had very different reactions.

Kennedy waited until no one was looking and then devoured her cupcake. When I went to take her picture, she reached out for the camera like she was going to eat that next.

And little Miss Sensitive, thought something was awfully wrong. Maybe she would have preferred a chocolate cake over yellow?

Unfortunately my family will not be able to make it out for Jer's graduation, so they opted to come last weekend instead. And while we are planning a party for the girls birthday/Jer's graduation on the same day, we decided to celebrate their actual birthday with homemade pizza and cupcakes. We had a great time with them. And Jeremy wanted to especially thank them for the bikinis they got the girls... he just might have to borrow one sometime....
