1st trip to the Dentist

We took the girls to the Dentist today for their first time. Jeremy brought them in as I was finishing my cleaning and Bailey's jaw dropped in a look of awe - AND it never closed. Poor girl. She was so freaked out being in a new environment. Made me kinda sad thinking about kidnapped kids. Anyways enough with the depressing thoughts. Bailey's facial expression was so cute, I had to tape it!

Then it was "Kennedy's turn!" as she yelled and kept announcing to everyone in the office. Jeremy and her were practicing opening wide. And the prize at the end that made them SO HAPPY .........? Pink toothbrushes. Thank you girls for a fun morning of entertainment.

Documenting

Jeremy finished our retaining wall, but before it dried fully, we decided to have the girls do this.....This is going to be really cool to look back on one day!

Fall

Yes folks, that is right. It is FINALLY beginning to feel like Fall. This is my favorite time of the year! And so, we had to celebrate by going to Apple Hill!

On her third attempt, Kennedy actually got on this miniature pony and rode around the track. She loved it!

And on her fifth attempt, Bailey rode Macintosh! She too loved it, but was leery the whole ride!

In other news, Fall is a good time to plant grass. Well apparently before we can do that we need to build a cement wall, build a rock retaining wall, excavate a level out our yard, demo my gazebo, etc, etc. The list goes on... We are pushing to get most of it done soon, but we will see! (My front yard needs new sod too!) Here is a view of the area Jer poured footing in yesterday (on the far left side.)

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part I - Pismo Beach

We started our family vacation after work one Friday. The girls and I picked up Jer and drove to San Luis Obispo, CA. It is so BEAUTIFUL there and the weather is awesome! I have a grandpa that lives there so we stayed with him.

Jeremy and I are ready to sell our house and move there. Funny thing is we got offered to go there or Sacramento - why didn't we choose there again????

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part II - Disneyland

I LOVE Disneyland, and could not wait to have kids - so that I could take them here =) When we heard that you get in free on your birthday this year, and that kids under 3 are free, I talked Jer into adding this into our road trip. Jeremy turned 29 this day and had to wear a button that announced it was his birthday. Everyone at the park wished him a happy day and we got a free desert at Red Robin!

Apparently, D Land has a petting zoo, which I don't remember, but the girls LOVED it.

The large characters FREAKED the girls out - especially Bailey. She screamed "NO"! And was pushing off Jer as soon as they got near.

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part III - Las Vegas

I LOVE these girls and this chair. We are getting ready to go swimming at Melissa's - and I was trying to figure out how to get this chair home with me. Please let us have it - the girls fit perfectly!

This picture makes me want to have a crazy glasses party! This is at the Hard Rock Hotel where we had just gotten done eating a FREE fine dinning dinner. How you say? Easy, just watch a HUGE, black, sewer rat crawl down the wall behind your cousins back. Seriously. It was gross.
