Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part I - Pismo Beach

We started our family vacation after work one Friday. The girls and I picked up Jer and drove to San Luis Obispo, CA. It is so BEAUTIFUL there and the weather is awesome! I have a grandpa that lives there so we stayed with him.

Here is a pic of me with the girls.... with the beautiful sun setting in the background.
Daddy and his babes.
Kennedy standing in a hole - she loved the sand!
BEAUTIFUL pic of Bailey
Us (I kinda do not want any of us to get any older)

The next morning..,.
Kennedy digging for sand dollars
Bailey found one!
On the deck in my grandpa's back yard. I just re-did the girls room in owls and so they feel quickly in love with these bad boys.
View from grandpa's deck..... yes, that is the ocean.
Jeremy and I are ready to sell our house and move there. Funny thing is we got offered to go there or Sacramento - why didn't we choose there again????

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part II - Disneyland

I LOVE Disneyland, and could not wait to have kids - so that I could take them here =) When we heard that you get in free on your birthday this year, and that kids under 3 are free, I talked Jer into adding this into our road trip. Jeremy turned 29 this day and had to wear a button that announced it was his birthday. Everyone at the park wished him a happy day and we got a free desert at Red Robin!
Here are the girls in our hotel room - ready to go!
Bailey liked the shuttle TO Disneyland better than the rides!

All of us on the "horsey ride" that "goes up and down and up and down"

Apparently, D Land has a petting zoo, which I don't remember, but the girls LOVED it.

The large characters FREAKED the girls out - especially Bailey. She screamed "NO"! And was pushing off Jer as soon as they got near.
Back to the hotel for nap time....
... Then back again.
On the Buzz Lightyear ride.
Us watching the awesome firework show!
Flying with Peter Pan

Hmmmm, now you know where she gets it from.

Tuckered out from the LONG day. We stayed until the park closed at midnight!

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part III - Las Vegas

I LOVE these girls and this chair. We are getting ready to go swimming at Melissa's - and I was trying to figure out how to get this chair home with me. Please let us have it - the girls fit perfectly!

The Fam

While there, Jeremy celebrated his 29th birthday! Old Man. My mom made his favorite:

yellow cake with rainbow chip frosting!

Great-grandpa Kennedy with the girls. Kennedy's face cracks me up.

3-D

The boys with the girls. There is a water park really close to my parents house and we went to to keep cool.

Ethan with Kennedy
Arran with Bailey (my brothers are getting so big!)

What the....????
This picture makes me want to have a crazy glasses party! This is at the Hard Rock Hotel where we had just gotten done eating a FREE fine dinning dinner. How you say? Easy, just watch a HUGE, black, sewer rat crawl down the wall behind your cousins back. Seriously. It was gross.
My fish gals.
A little ranch with your fries never hurt anyone, right?
Am I seeing double? It's Jeremy and Jeremy. Oh no, wait... one has hair!
My madre with both babes.
More swimming... it's the only way to stay to sane in the Vegas heat.

Family Summer Trip 2009 - Part IV - Utah

For the last part of our road trip, we stopped in Utah. When we pulled in and saw all the beautiful mountains, Jeremy and I looked at each other and realized how much we missed it! We went directly to Cafe Rio and then to Amy's house (where we were staying). That night we went out with the Losee's, Fawsons, Yagers, Adam, and Keith (plus 7 kids). Can you tell they are excited to be with us?

We then went to good ole Liberty park where they children feed the ducks and ran a muck!
Bailey jumping in the air.... cutest picture ever!

Out in Herriman, where we were staying, they built this little reservoir that you could go swimming in. The kids loved playing with Jordyn and had a blast.

Last night there, we took Adam and Keith to sushi. Kennedy seriously picked up the chopsticks and used them to eat a couple of bites. Holy Cow! That is amazing considering I just figured them out a few years ago myself!
