Wicked Valentine Workers

O.K O.K. so the title is misleading..... there should be commas indicating that the items are seperate and not related. So sue me, I thought they would grab your attention more this way!
1. Wicked
We went to see it. I should not even attempt to write about it because anything I say will fail to explain how much I loved it. So let's just end with I loved it. (If any anyone wants to get into a moral/political discussion about it, I am ready!)

2. Valentine

Jeremy stepped it up this year - and got all the women in his life flowers! A beautiful bouquet of a dozen long-stem red roses for me, and a single long-stem pink rose for Bailey, Kennedy, and his mother.

3. Workers

This is what we have been up to lately. I wish we would have hired workers.

First trip to the beach

We finally took the girls to the beach, and they LOVED it! We rented a house at Dillon's Beach (about 2 hours from our house) with the whole Nelson clan, minus Adam. The girls are at such a fun age right now... I hope it only gets better!

A mind of her own ... a spotlight on Kennedy

Mommy: Kennedy, how old are you?
Kennedy: Three (as she holds up one finger- she is not even two yet)

Mommy: What is your favorite color?
Kennedy: Blue. (I have no idea when she decided this... it is not my favorite color... but she is sure of herself and says it everytime)

Also, a little break through. When we were in Vegas for New Years, Kennedy starting saying "poo poo" while grunting (once again I do not claim that she got this from me) and pointing at the toilet. She I got her a little potty and she loves it! Her first day she went pee-pee in it three times!

Other news...

This post is going to be a jumble of information just to catch everyone up. First of all, we closed on our house on December 30th - Hooray!

Here is Kennedy with her crazy LONG hair. If I do not do it everyday, then this is what it looks like. I have no idea what to do. Does anyone else have a child whose bangs begin back on the crown of her head?

Playing playing in our new backyard.

Ted and Jeremy working hard on "fixing up" our home. It will probably be another month before we move in. (Sigh).

We went to Las Vegas to see my family for New Years!. Here is Bailey at breakfast. We let them get choclate chip pancakes - and boy oh boy did they LOVE it!
My youngest brother Arran got baptized while we were there - Hooray!

Our cute family picture. I am laughing because I am pretty much standing while spooning Jeremy. Gross.

I told Kennedy to get ready to go the other day - and here is what she came out wearing! She is all girl.

Here is our first trip to ride a merry-go-round. Pretty much Bailey made almost NO expression, and Kennedy was manic. She laughed and cried.

Finally, here is what the girls did when they put on their brand new tu-tu that Aunt Becky made for them! Thanks Becky - we LOVE IT!

... And Kennedy's turn. Sorry I can not for the life of me figue out how to flip videos - so crank your head again and enjoy!

Christmas Post.... Are you serious?

Hey, it's better late than never- so in the words of Jeremy "deal with it." Our internet went down and we are too lazy to figure out what is going on. So here is the low down.

Here is Aunt Becky with the girls on Christmas Eve. We went to Aaron and Trish's house for dinner and had a really fun time.

Here are the rocking chairs that we finsihed for the girls. Jeremy woke up extra early on Chirstmas morning becuase he was too excited to sleep - then when the girls weren't awake at their normal time, he woke them up! This probably explains why Kennedy was a grump part of the day and was trying to steal any toy that Bailey was playing with (even though there was two of everything, and in the case of the toy that really made them mad they got three!)

Bailey posing in front of the tree and toys. P.S. Our New Years resolution is to get rid of those dang binkys in the day. It is actually going quite well!

Playing.

Daddy helping Bailey open her personal favorite present: a piece of smiley face tupperware. And no, I am not kidding.

Daddy setting up their big girl tricycles! They love them!
