The score: 6-0

Kennedy's six-teeth homer in the thirteenth-month inning led her to a 6-0 win over the little Bailey.

Bailey came up to bat in the thirteenth-month inning, and swung home runs with high temperatures and fussiness. But, she struck out on the next pitch, resulting in zero teeth.

A heavy helping of confusion was heaved onto the parents at game's end by the teeth that everyone of their children's fans in attendance had. Could Bailey possibly be the only thirteen-and-a-half month old child with no teeth? Only time will tell....

(Sorry the picture is so bright, I forgot to take off the flash.
Here are her 4 teeth on top - and 2 teeth below!)

... and yes, Kennedy's mouth is blue. The dumb teller at the bank gave her a sucker.

American Idol

So sue us, we are nerds and love American Idol. Jeremy always non-nonchalantly brings up the show around friends to see how they react to it - and when they respond well (especially if the husband admits his like for it) then he confesses his love. Anyways, we decided to "have an American Idol party" tonight to watch the results......

Adam making signs. The girls thought he was pretty cool.

Sign #1: Adam began to write "THE" but messed up and wrote "TE" So we improvised and made it "TED loves David Archuleta" Jeremy's hand print and Kennedy's can be found on this sign! (Maybe Ted really does love David?)

"Go David A. Lick Those Lips!" (You'll have to ask Adam)

The boys cheering. Jeremy doing the "A."

Truly, I am a Cook fan, but was outnumbered and did not have a poster of my own. So I jumped on the band wagon. =)

Ummm Jer... what are you doing?

No comment needed

Waiting.....

Aftermath of the results.

Jargon words of the day: Croup and Mia Maids

Croup: Inflammation of the upper airways that leads to a cough that sounds like a bark. This is accompanied by a high fever and shallow breathing. Kennedy is now showing free demonstrations on how this works.

Mia Maids: A group of 14-15 year old girls. Associated with the LDS church. They gather together weekly for spiritual instruction. Britni is now in charge of spiritually instructing them. Yikes.

Loving the weather....

So, can I just say that is so nice having Jeremy home in the evenings? It is. Tonight we felt the weather outside, and just could not stay indoors any longer. Jeremy hooked up the girls' bike trailer, fixed the tires on his bike, and off we went....

Bailey seems to be saying "Tah-Da!"

The Great Debate

VERSUS

So, now that Jeremy has graduated we are like, "What are we doing here?"Thanks to our handy-dandy chalk board in our kitchen, we now have some answers... or maybe just more questions. Here is what we have come up with in the last month or so.

CONS OF UTAH:
Weather (snow sucks)
No Family
Raise Children in Utah (sorry if you are from here)

PROS OF UTAH:
Great Job
Yearly Vacations
Bigger House

CONS OF CALIFORNIA:
Expensive
Fear of new job
Populated/ Traffic

PROS OF CALIFORNIA:
Family
Weather
Everything!

What do you think?

Our Wacky Wild Weekend

We made it through our busy weekend and are still trying to recover. Right now Kennedy and Ted are sick, and the rest of us are starting to feel a little gross. But, Jeremy is a free man now! That is, if he passes his accounting class (he he he). The weekend broke down as follows.... Thursday at about half past midnight my cousin Wayne and one of my best friends Melissa came into town, along with Jeremy's parents. Friday, we had graduation. I've got to be honest, I am a nerd and usually totally love graduations, but for some reason this was a little different. I wasn't digging it. Although Sally and I both teared up when Jeremy walked in wearing his cap and gown, the rest was just o.k. But the whole being done "working on homework all night long thing" is going to be awesome.

Jeremy in his sexy gown. (please notice the jeans and tennis shoes... yes my husband is w.t.)

They look good with kids (wink, wink).

And last, but not least the HUGE cold sore on Jer's lip!

Then Saturday... we had a little party at the park to celebrate Jeremy - and the girls 1st birthday party! Pretty much we just invited some friends to come and have a BBQ and cake with us. It was fun, but the weather was a little cold and windy. (Freezing temps in April is something I need to add to my "dislikes of Utah" list). Sorry I did not get pics of everyone, but here are some highlights of the B-Day party!...
The girls eating their dinner on the grass in their high chairs. You can't tell from the pics, but Kennedy had a meltdown almost the whole time. We should have had the song "It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to" playing in the background - yeah, it was that bad.

We are weird looking.

Opening presents at home after morning nap.
THANK YOU to everyone who brought something... these girls are sure spoiled!

Sunday brought some rest as we said good bye to Melissa and Wayne who went back to Vegas. That evening Stacia, Nate, and Maylie came over to play! It was so fun. They LOVE their new wagon that the got, and are making Sally give them rides around the house! We need the Knapps to move closer so that our girls can grow up together like Stacia and I did.
