Much need updates!

So, life has been crazy. In the month of March, I got to see 3 of my most favorite people! First my awesome friend Kaylene, who is from Sacramento, but whom I know from BYU. She is great and her adorable son seems to grow so much every time I see him!
Next.... Adam. Adam if you are reading this - PLEASE move back. I miss you sooooo much - and that is all I have to say about that.
Finally, my BFF Stacia! Her and her beautiful family were down last weekend. I really miss having her around all the time, but it was way cool that we have been able to see each other as often as we have.

Now as to what else has been going on. I started my first official day of teaching preschool on April 2nd. It went surprisingly well. I love the 6 little children who come to my home, and can't wait to meet more in the Fall. I am still getting the hang of what schedule works, what activities the children are interested in, and most importantly what snack they like to eat. Apparently you do not win the teacher popularity contest if you give the children the Easter eggs that they dyed to eat. Who knew?

The girls got their first hair cuts. I know, at almost 2 years old - it was about time. They look adorable - and are getting compliments all the time! Also, the big news in our home is the easy, and yes I said easy and my children in the same sentence, transition from cribs to big girl beds. They are growing up so fast. It is kind of hitting me lately that they are not babies. *Sigh* Anyone know any babies that need a home? or how to make a quick 20k? (Red Hawk didn't work out so well for me the other night, seriously!)

Next project to tackle: Housewarming/ Girl's Birthday Party

Bad Blogger

I know I suck at blogging.
Life has been crazy.
Expect a post AFTER I start preschool next week, then I can think.

Wicked Valentine Workers

O.K O.K. so the title is misleading..... there should be commas indicating that the items are seperate and not related. So sue me, I thought they would grab your attention more this way!
1. Wicked
We went to see it. I should not even attempt to write about it because anything I say will fail to explain how much I loved it. So let's just end with I loved it. (If any anyone wants to get into a moral/political discussion about it, I am ready!)

2. Valentine

Jeremy stepped it up this year - and got all the women in his life flowers! A beautiful bouquet of a dozen long-stem red roses for me, and a single long-stem pink rose for Bailey, Kennedy, and his mother.

3. Workers

This is what we have been up to lately. I wish we would have hired workers.

First trip to the beach

We finally took the girls to the beach, and they LOVED it! We rented a house at Dillon's Beach (about 2 hours from our house) with the whole Nelson clan, minus Adam. The girls are at such a fun age right now... I hope it only gets better!

A mind of her own ... a spotlight on Kennedy

Mommy: Kennedy, how old are you?
Kennedy: Three (as she holds up one finger- she is not even two yet)

Mommy: What is your favorite color?
Kennedy: Blue. (I have no idea when she decided this... it is not my favorite color... but she is sure of herself and says it everytime)

Also, a little break through. When we were in Vegas for New Years, Kennedy starting saying "poo poo" while grunting (once again I do not claim that she got this from me) and pointing at the toilet. She I got her a little potty and she loves it! Her first day she went pee-pee in it three times!
